Bus rams auto-rickshaw, 2 women killed

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two women were killed and three others were injured as a bus rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Jodurparha area on Tangail-Bhuyapur road of the district's Kalihati upazila on Friday afternoon.

Mir Mosharraf Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalihati Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said a Tangail-bound bus rammed a CNG run auto-rickshaw, killing two women dead on the spot. Three including auto-rickshaw driver sustained injuries.

The injured were being taken to Tangail General Hospital while the report was filed in the afternoon.

The casualties could not be identified immediately.
