Businessman Pankaj Roy arrested in graft case

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested the chairman of Brokerage Alliance Securities and Management Limited from his residence at Dhanmondi in the capital in a case filed for illegally amassing wealth worth Tk 8.5 crore.

A team of the ACC conducted a drive in the house of businessman Pankaj Kumar Roy in Dhanmondi area overnight and arrested him on Monday morning, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told risingbd.com.

The anti-graft body yesterday filed a money laundering case with Ramna Model police station against him for allegedly achieving assets illegally.
