CJ condemns chaos at courtroom

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain condemned the chaos made by pro-BNP lawyers at courtroom and said “Everything has a limit…”

The CJ made the opinion during the chaotic incident centering an appeal filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case on Thursday.

The hearing in the case started around 11:30am in the court of a six-member bench headed by the chief justice. At one stage, the Chief Justice left the courtroom after a group of pro-BNP lawyers shouted and made chaos in the room.  

Earlier on November 28, the appellate division directed the authority concerned to file medical board report of Khaleda Zia on December 5.
