Cabinet approves draft of Nat'l Jute Policy 2018

Senior Correspondent: The Cabinet approved the draft of the National Jute Policy 2018 giving emphasize on fair price, quality jute production, local and international investment.
The approval was given at the weekly meeting of the Cabinet, held at the prime minister's office with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Monday.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam said the government is taking several steps to get back golden days of jute fiber.
The meeting also gave final approval of the Bangladesh Slandered and Testing Institution Act 2018.
