Cabinet sees 10pc reduction in its decision implementation

Secretariat Correspondent: The implementation rate of decisions which the cabinet took during the fourth quarterly period (October-December) of last year has come down to 10.48 percent.

The implementation rate of decisions taken in the cabinet in last three months is 67.46 percent which was 77.94 percent at the same period of previous year.

A report in this regard was presented at the regular weekly meeting of the cabinet held at the Prime Minister's Office with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair on Monday.

After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam briefed reporters.

Shafiul Alam said nine cabinet meetings were held during the period ranging from October to December in last year. During this period, 83 decisions were taken out of which 56 are implemented and 27 are under implementation. The implementation rate of decisions taken in the cabinet during this period is 67.46 percent.
