Case filed over Biman hijack attempt

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Chattogram Civil Aviation on Monday filed a case with Patenga Police Station against Palash Ahmed, who allegedly attempted to hijack an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Sunday evening.

Debabrata Sarkar, technical assistant of Chattogram Civil Aviation, lodged the case under the Anti-Terrorism Act showing Palash as the prime accused.

Utpal Barua, officer-in-charge of Patenga Police Station, confirmed the filing of the case.
