'Case to be filed with New York court by April'

Special Correspondent: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said Bangladesh is going to file a case with the court of New York within the next month of April over the recovery of the money stolen from the Bangladesh Bank`s (BB) account at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2016.

A process to appoint a New York-based law firm is underway in this regard, he said.

The finance minister came up with the comment while talking to journalists after a meeting at the Secretariat on Sunday noon.
