Cautionary signal 3 for maritime ports

Staff Correspondent: The Met office has asked four maritime ports to issue cautionary signal No. 3, fearing stormy weather due to a low-pressure system developing in the northern Bay of Bengal.
Farid Ahmed of Chittagong met office said that the maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three.
Besides, there is possibility to occur heavy rainfall at some places across the country.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
