Certified copy of Khaleda's verdict not issued till Sunday

Staff Correspondent: The certified copy of the verdict against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case was not issued on Sunday. It may be released on Monday, according to the court sources.
Khaleda Zia's lawyer Sanaullah Mia took part in hearing in the court over getting certified copy of the verdict on Sunday.
The court sources said, "In the hearing, Sanaullah Mia requested the Special Court-5 to issue it on Sunday afternoon. But the court gave no reply to the request. However, Judge Dr. Akhtaruzzaman of the court assured of handing over certified copy of the verdict on Monday."
After emerging from the court, Sanaullah Mia told reporters that we sought certified copy in hearing. The judge expected to give it on Sunday afternoon."
Meanwhile, bench clerk ( peshker) of the court Mokarram Hossain said, "Sanaullah Mia sought the certified copy on Sunday, but the judge assured to give it on Monday."
It may be mentioned that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia convicted for five years imprisonment in the graft case and fined Tk 2.10 crore. Since, she has been confined in Old Dhaka's central jail.
