Chawkbazar fire: Rescue drive ends

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon has officially called off the rescue mission for victims of the Chawkbazar fire.
He called it off around 1:00pm on Thursday.
A total of 70 bodies were recovered while 32 people took primary treatment from various hospital including Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Mayor Sayeed Khokon said.
Although the rescue mission is called off but, two fire units will be kept ready in the spot.
