Staff Correspondent: General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Akramul Hasan Mintu has been arrested.
Police picked up him from Paltan intersection on Friday, Mahmudul Hasan, the officer-in-charge of Paltan police station, said.
Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has condemned Akramul’s arrest in a statement.
He demanded withdrawal of all “false and politically motivated cases” against Akramul and demanded his immediate release.
