Chief Imams of Makkah, Medina to visit Dhaka

Secretariat Correspondent: A six member Saudi delegation including chief imam of the Grand mosque in Makkah and chief imam of the Great mosque of Medina will visit Dhaka.

The delegation is scheduled to join Alem-Ulam conference at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on April 6.

Islamic Foundation Bangladesh will organize the programme on the occasion of its 42 founding anniversary where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the programme as a chief guest.

Following the upcoming conference, the religion ministry arranged a meeting on Thursday noon. Abdul Jalil secretary to the religious affairs ministry presided over the programme where additional secretary Fayej Ahmed Bhuiyan and others attended.
