Circular on govt employees house loan issued

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has issued a circular for its employees as they will be entitled to low interest housing loan of upto Tk 75 lakh.

The finance division of the Ministry of Finance issued the circular on Tuesday.

According to the circular, the loan will be applicable only for those employed in service and upto the age of 56 years. The range of housing loan will begin from Tk 20 lakh and extend to a maximum of Tk 75 lakh with an interest rate of 5 per cent.

The money can be used to purchase a flat or construction of house anywhere in the country.
