City road crash kills 3

Staff Correspondent: At least three people were killed and ten others injured in a road accident in Mirpur area of the capital on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Shibli Sadik, 32 and Yeasin Ahmed, 24 and a eight-years-old girl.

Shah Ali police station said two human haulers started race in Chatbari area of Mirpur around 2:50pm. At one stage, a human hauler hit another one in the area. Meanwhile, a passenger also hit the human hauler, leaving 13 people injured.

Later, the injured were sent to Suhrawardi Hospital where the three people died under treatment.
