College admission process starts Sunday

Secretariat Correspondent: Admission process in Class XI at all government and non-government colleges and equivalent institutions will start Sunday (May 12).

No admission tests will be allowed while the students will be enrolled based on their results in Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations.

The entire admission process will be online-based (website: www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd) while students can also be admitted by sending text on state-owned Teletalk mobile.

The education ministry recently issued the guideline for admission in Class XI in 2019-20 academic year on its website.

Students who passed SSC and equivalent examinations from eight general boards, one madrassah board and one technical board in 2017, 2018 and 2019 are eligible for applying for admission between May 12 and May 23.

At the same time, the students, who will apply for re-check of results, are also eligible for admission.

The classes will begin on July 1, said guideline of education ministry.
