College admission process starts today

Staff Correspondent: The online application process for admission into private and government colleges under 2017-18 academic session started across the country on Tuesday.
As per the guidelines, the admission seekers will be able to apply through online by paying Tk 150. The students, however, can apply for admission through SMS by paying Tk 120 for each.
The students can submit their application through www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
Classes will begin on July 1.
Approximately 1.43 million students passed their SSC and equivalent exams this year. Of these students, 104,761 received a GPA of 5.0.
