College student crushed to death by truck in Magura

Magura Correspondent: A college student was crushed to death by a truck in the district town on Sunday noon.

The accident happened around 2.30pm near the residence of Magura Police Supper in the town’s Hatkhola Road.

The victim is Biswajit Biswas, a first year student of Accounting Department of Magura Govt Hossain Shaheed Sohrawardy College and son of Debendro Nath Biswas at Baliadanga village under Magura sadar upazila.

Sub Inspector of Magura Sadar Thana Abdul Mobin said Biswajit was returning home from the college by bicycle. A cement laden truck ran over his bicycle around 2.30pm, leaving his dead on the spot.
