College student killed in Noakhali road crash

Noakhali Correspondent: A female college student was killed and injured another one when a pickup van and a battery run auto rickshaw collided in Maizdi Bazar area of Noakhali municipality on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Anisa Anan, 17, a student of Noakhali Government Mahila College, daughter of Ali Ahmed.

Locals said that two college girls were heading towards Maizdi court riding by an auto-rickshaw this morning. Meanwhile, a speedy pickup van hit the vehicle from opposite direction, leaving Anisa dead on the spot.

Sudharam police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter.
