College teacher killed in Satkhira road crash

Satkhira Correspondent: A college teacher was killed when a truck rammed him in Alauddin intersection of the district town on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Gobinda Das, 47, a teacher of Ashashuni Government College.  

Satkhira Sadar police station Inspector (probe) Abdul Hossain said that the victim went to a local shop to buy some medicine riding bicycle. Meanwhile, a speedy truck rammed him in the area around 8:00pm, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Sadar Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
