Cop among 6 killed in Gopalganj road crash

Gopalganj Correspondent: At least six people including a cop were killed and another was injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a three-wheeler, locally known as easy-bike, at Chechaniyakandi on Dhaka-Khulna highway of the district's sadar upazila on Thursday noon.

Of the deceased, two were identified immediately. They are Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Delwar Hossain, 32, and the easy-bike driver Azad Sheikh, 26. 

Omar Faruk, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar Police Station, confirmed the news.
