Cop's wife wants to know husband's wealth source

Staff Correspondent: A police officer's wife has arranged a press conference accusing her husband of illegally amassing wealth in Khulna on Saturday.

In a press conference, the woman also alleged that her husband hired terrorists spending Tk five lakh to kill her and her brother. 

The wife of officer-in-charge (OC) Refayet Ullah Chowdhury of Chittagong’s Patia police station, Ruma said that her husband gathered millions of taka, flats and other assets through his involvement with drug dealers, smugglers and criminals.

Meanwhile, she demanded immediate arrest of her husband. She also urged Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate his source of income.
