Staff Correspondent: A court here on Monday rejected the bail pleas of two accused in a case filed over the arms losing incident in a road accident in capital's Karwan Bazar.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurunnahar Yeasmin passed the order after hearing in the case.
The two accused are- BRTC bus driver Wahid Ali, 35, and Sajan Paribahan Khorshed, 50.
Lawyer Mohamma Yunus for Wahid and lawyer Helal Uddin Patwari moved for Khorshed in the case.
Earlier on April 5, the court granted two days of remand for these two accused. After the remand, the accused were sent to jail on April 8.
Rajib, a third-year student of Government Titumir College, lost the hand after it got stuck between two speeding buses trying to overtake each other in the capital's Bangla Motor area on April 3.
