Cyclone Mora: Ctg airports suspend flight operations

Staff Correspondent: Authorities of Chittagong airport suspended all the flight operations as cyclone ‘Mora’ is moving towards Bangladesh’s coastal areas on Tuesday.
The flying and landing of all flights have been suspended from 11:00am Monday to 2pm Tuesday.
Confirming the matter, Shah Amanat International Airport's manager wing commander Riazul Kabir told risingbd.com due to the deteriorating weather caused by the approaching Cyclone Mora, all activities of the airport will remain closed until further notice.
In the latest special bulletin, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said the severe cyclonic storm ‘Mora’ moved northwards over North Bay and has started crossing Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong coast near Kutubdia at 6:00 am.
