Manikganj Correspondent: The launch services on Paturia-Daulatdia route in the Padma River have resumed as the weather situation improved.
Confirming the matter, M Faridul Islam, Assistant Director (Traffic) of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), said, launch services resumed at 8:00am on Tuesday as the weather situation improved.
Earlier, the authority stopped launch services from 11:00am on Monday due to strong current in the Padma River and bad weather.
