Order on Khaleda's bail after getting lower court documents

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) will give its order on Khaleda's bail petition in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case after getting lower court documents in the case.
The bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim came up with the order on Sunday, after completing hearing on bail petition.
Senior lawyer A J Mohammad Ali, Advocate Zainul Abedin and Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon moved for Khaleda Zia while Attorney General Mahbubey Alam represented the state.
Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan moved for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the court.
Earlier, HC aksed the lower court concerned to send documents of the case within 15 days.
On February 22, the court stayed the fine of Tk 2.10 crore slapped on Khaled Zia in the case.
The Special Court-5 in Dhaka sentenced Khaleda Zia to five years rigorous imprisonment and fined Tk 2.10 crore in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case on February 8.
Since, she has been confined in Old Dhaka's central jail.
