Dhaka-North Bengal rail link resumes

Pabna Correspondent: Rail communications between Dhaka and northern districts of the country resumed after around three hours on Sunday.

Railway (West Zone) Pakshi Divisional Manager Ashim Kumar Talukder said that the rail communication halted at about 7:00am after onrush of rain waters washed away stretch beneath a rail bridge in Chadmara area of Pabna’s Chatmohor.

Later, the repair work started around 8:00am and restored the communication around 10:30am.
