Senior Correspondent: Criticizing the incumbent government, Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman HM Ershad on Tuesday said, “The ‘Digital Bangladesh’ has now gone under the grip of drugs while the incidents of rape, terrorism, extortion and killings have raised due to the lack of good governance.”
Addressing a rally marking the historic May Day at the premises of the party’s central office in the city, the former president said, “Only for living, the apparel workers toil for 12 hours daily, but no one bother about where they live or how they live.”
Only Jatiya Party can form a worker-friendly government, he said urging the working class people to get united and work for their rights.
We don’t have peace, freedom of speech, democracy, happiness, security while workers have no work, he added.
