'Direction issued to find out attackers of journos'

Cumilla Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khana Kamal said that he had directed the law enforcement agencies to find out those carried out attack on journalists during the students’ movement through checking video footages of the incidents.

The Minister told this to the reporters after inaugurating Fire Service and Civil Defence Station at Burichong in Cumilla on Saturday noon.

Kamal further said, “Currently in Bangladesh, cancer is not a killer, the real killer is now road accident. Road crashes claim about 6,000 lives every year.”

“Most of the vehicles plying on roads are outdated and without fitness. People often neglect traffic rules. Not only competence of the drivers, but also people’s consciousness is important,” he added.
