Do or Die match for Bangladesh today

Sports Desk: The Tigers will play their crucial match against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup-2018 at Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Bangladesh have to win today's match to survive in the stage of Asia Cup. The Tigers have their backs to the wall as they lost their first match of the round against India Friday in Dubai. With two more games to go, a defeat against Afghanistan will mean Bangladesh will virtually get eliminated from the tournament.



If the Tigers can win today's match then the team will face Pakistan in semi-final.

The Tigers had started the competition strong with a resolute win against Sri Lanka. Later, they lost two matches. Bangladesh lost their last two games following batting failure.



Team management called Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes to the squad for the remainder of the 2018 Asia Cup. There is a possibility that Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes would join today's game. Liton Das and Nazmul Hossain Shanto would be sent to the side bench.
