Drive against corruption to be continued: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has vowed to continue ongoing drive against terrorism, corruption and militancy, saying no wrongdoing will be tolerated.

PM came up with this bold stance before starting meeting with top leaders of Jubo League who visited her at Gono Bhaban on Sunday evening.

Jubo League top leaders visited PM to take overall direction about the 7th congress of the youth wing to be held on November 23.

PM said the country is going towards development after AL came to power. Bangabandhu had a dread so that country’s people get advance lifestyle. We are running the country with the dream accordingly. We will make Bangladesh poverty free. The country will be poverty free soon because of the government steps taken in this regard.

She further said we will continue the drive against terrorism and corruption. No mercy to wrongdoers. We must take steps against criminals.
