Drug peddler held in city

Staff Correspondent: Armed Police Battalion (APBn) held a drug peddler with phensidyl from the capital's Uttara on Saturday.
The detainee was identified as Md Rayhan, 30, son of Mazdar who hailed from Kathalbaria village under Rajparha of Rajshahi.
Acting on tip off, APBn held him along with 226 bottles of phensidyl, conducting a drive in front of a public toilet in Uttara.
Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Saidur Rahman Rubel, also operation officer of APBn-5, confirmed the news.
He said Raihan confessed to supplying phensidyl at different points of the capital for long days.
