'Drug trader' killed in Tangail gunfight

Tangail Correspondent: An alleged drug peddler was killed in a 'gunfight' between two groups of drug traders in Charabari area under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Mannan, hailed from Kandapara area of Tangail municipality.

Police recovered fire arms and drugs from the spot.

Confirming the matter, Tangail Model police station Officer-in-Charge Saidur Rahman said Mannan was a top drug dealer in the district.
