'Drug trader' killed in city 'gunfight'

Senior Correspondent: A suspected drug dealer was killed in a 'gunfight' with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Diabari area of the capital on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was known as Alam alias Gaza Alam.
RAB-1 Assistant Police Super (ASP) Md Kamruzzaman said, a team of RAB raided the area around 2:00am. Sensing presence of law enforcers, drug dealers opened fire on them. In self-defense, RAB personnel retaliated, triggering the gun battle.
Meanwhile, two RAB personnel also received injuries.
Foreign made pistol and bullets were recovered from the spot.
