EC to hold dialogue with AL on Wednesday

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) will hold dialogue with Awami League (AL) on Wednesday as part of its ongoing talks with 40 registered political parties ahead of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad election.

According to the EC schedule, the commission will sit with a 22-member delegation of the country's largest political party at 11.00am.

The delegation will be led by party's election conducting committee co-chairman and advisory council member HT Imam.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Presidium Members Adv. Abdul Matin Khasru and Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Joint General Secretaries Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif, Dr Dipu Moni, Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanok and Abdur Rahman and senior leaders will join it.
