EC to sit with law enforcement agencies

Staff Correspondent: The Election Commission (EC) will sit with law enforcement agencies to discuss over the allegation of arresting political leaders and activists after announcement of schedule for 11th general election.

The EC is going to sit with law enforcement agencies for the first time after declaring the schedule.

The EC sent a letter in this regard to Public Safety Division under the Home Ministry on Sunday.

According to the letter, the meeting will be held at Nirbachan Bhaban of the capital’s Agargaon at 10:30am on November 22 (Thursday).

Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Home Secretary, Public Safety Division, commissioners and superintendents of all metropolitans were asked to join the meeting.
