ECNEC approves 8 projects worth Tk1,893cr

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved a total of eight projects involving Tk1,893.22 crore.

The approval was made at the ECNEC meeting of the current fiscal year held at the NEC conference room in Dhaka’s Sher-E-Bangla Nagar with the committee’s Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said, the whole projects cost will come from the government fund.

Planning secretary Md Ziaul Islam, general economic division member of the Planning Commission (Senior Secretary) Dr Shamsul Alam and others attended the meeting.
