Earthquake jolts Dhaka, parts of country

Staff Correspondent: A moderate earthquake jolted different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka around 10:50am on Wednesday.
The epicentre of the quake was Sapatgram, Assam, India, 293km northeast of Dhaka.
The earthquake range was 5.3 magnitude.
However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualty.
According to the scale of seismologists, an earthquake ranging from 5 to 5.9 is considered a moderate earthquake which can cause slight damage to buildings.
