Ecnec approves 16 projects worth over Tk16,000cr

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) has approved 16 projects worth a total of Tk16,010.24 crore.

The projects were approved at Ecnec meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Ecnec Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal briefed reporters after the meeting.

Planning Minister said of the total project cost, Tk 11,870.48 crore will come from the national exchequer, Tk 300.34 crore from the organisation's own fund while the rest of Tk 3, 839.42 crore from project assistance.
