Eden College student crushed to death by vehicle

Staff Correspondent:  An Eden College student has been crushed to death by a vehicle in the capital’s Shanir Akhra area.

This incident happened on Monday noon.

The deceased was identified as Nusrat Jahan Jhuma (19).

It is learnt that an unknown vehicle hit Jhuma as soon as she got down from a Leguna. She was seriously injured. The locals rescued Jhuma and took her to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty doctors declared her dead.

The body has been kept in the morgue for autopsy.
