Education Minister’s PO among three missing held

Staff Correspondent: Police have arrested Motaleb Hossain, personal officer to Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, Md Nasiruddin, an upper division assistant (UDA) to the ministry, and Khaled Hassan Matin, owner of Lakehead Grammar School, who went missing.

They have been arrested from Gulshan area in the capital at 8:30pm on Sunday.

Confirming the matter, Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said the trio are in detective custody. Among them, Nasiruddin was held with Tk 1.3 lakhs from Gulshan and the others were held upon obtaining information from him.

Nasiruddin was the first one who went missing. He remained missing since last Thursday. A general diary has been filed with Banani Police Station in this regard on Thursday night.
