Eid advance train ticket sale begins Friday

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance train tickets on Friday (August 18) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest Muslim festival of the Muslims.

In a press conference, Railway Minister Mujibul Haque disclosed the matter on Thursday noon.

"100 percent ticket sale from ticket counters will be confirmed this time. Strict surveillance will be maintained in this regard," he said. 

Ticket selling in black market is not acceptable. Harder action will be taken against black-marketers, the minister added.

Railway secretary, Director General of Bangladesh Railway and others attended the press conference.
