Engineer among 2 killed in Gopalganj road crash

Gopalganj Correspondent: An engineer and a truck driver have been killed as two trucks collided in Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj.

The accident happened at Friday night at Rishiatala area of the upazila.

The deceased were identified as Ismail Mir, 38, an engineer of Max Group and a truck driver Mamun Biswas, 27. Mir was the son of Sekender Mir of Dohasar village in Madaripur Sadar upazila while Mamun was the son of Moslem Biswas of Belnagar village in Magura.

Muksudpur Police Station officer in charge Azizur Rahman said, a sand laden truck of Max Group collided with another truck coming from opposite direction leaving the two dead and three others injured.

The injured have been admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, the OC added.
