Sports Desk: England, thanks to Jason Roy’s 153 off 121 balls, set a record 387-run target for Bangladesh in their third WC match at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Saturday.
England managed to score 386 runs losing 6 wickets in allotted 50 over.
Jason Roy hit a brilliant innings of 153 runs off 121 balls which includes 14 fours and 5 sixes.
Jos Buttler (wk) scored 64 runs off 44 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes while Jonny Bairstow hit 51 runs off 50 balls with 6 fours.
For Bangladesh, Saifuddin and Mehidy Hasan Miraz shared two wickets each.
Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza and Mustafizur Rahman shared a wicket each.
