Ershad returns to Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad has returned to Dhaka after concluding a four-day visit to Rangpur.

Ershad left Rangpur cantonment for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a helicopter around 11:00am on Wednesday. The helicopter carrying Ershad landed at the airport around 12:00 pm.

Jatiya Party Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga and its presidium member Major (retd) Md Khaled Akhter and Ershad's son Erikh Ershad accompanied him.

JP Presidium Member SM Foisal Chisty, Joint Organizing Secretary Kazi Md Abul Khair and other party leaders welcomed him at the airport.

The JP chief took part in several programmes including those of party and personal ones on March 4, 5.

Ershad, also the opposition leader in the parliament, went to Rangpur on a four-day visit on March 3.
