Staff Correspondent, Jessore: A Jessore court has sentenced former BNP lawmaker M A Wahab of Jhenidah-1, also member of Executive Central Committee of the party, to eight years imprisonment in a graft case.
Judge Nitai Chandra Saha of Jessore Special Judge Court passed the order on Monday.
The court also ordered the authority concern to confiscate properties of 93 lakh and 369 taka for the state which was amassed from unknown sources.
