Ex-OC Moazzem handed over to Sonagazi police

Senior Correspondent: Former officer-in-charge (OC) Moazzem Hossain has been handed over to the representatives of Sonagazi police station in a case filed over Nusrat Jahan Rafi murder. 

Shahbagh police handed him over to Sonagazi police in Feni around 9:30am on Monday.

Abul Hosan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbagh police station, said, a case was filed against former OC Moazzem Hossain on charge of recording statement mobile and spreading it on social media. That’s why he has been handed over to police of Sonagazi. Later, he will be produced before the court.

Earlier on Sunday, police arrested him from the capital’s Shahbag area in the case filed under Information and Computer Technology (ICT) act.
