Ex OC Moazzem seeks bail to HC

Staff Correspondent: Former Sonagazi Police Station OC Moazzem Hossain has moved the High Court seeking bail in a case filed under ICT.
Lawyer Salma Sultana, on behalf of the OC, filed the bail petition to the HC bench of Justice Md Habibul Gani and Justice Mahiuddin Shamim on Wednesday.
Earlier on May 27, the court issued arrested warrant against Moazzem Hossain. Bangladesh cyber tribunal Judge Mohammad AS Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order.
On April 15, Supreme Court lawyer barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman filed the case.
The OC recorded the video in his chamber before Nusrat was set ablaze, which led to her death on April 10.
