Exact exam paper evaluation behind this result: Nahid

Secretariat Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said that the evaluation and monitoring process of examination papers was correct this year. That’s why the result dropped.

The minister made the opinion while addressing a press conference at his secretariat office in the capital on Thursday noon.

He said that more students failed this year in SSC and its equivalent examinations due to new evaluation process.

Nurul Islam Nahid also said that the previous examination paper evaluation process was faulty. The government left the old process in this regard.

"It was great challenge for us to follow new examination evaluation process. Earlier, the examination papers were evaluated by teachers only. We worked on it in last three years and finally brought a faultless process," he added.
