'Export earning to reach $60bn within 2021'

Special Correspondent: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said Bangladesh is going ahead with a target of earning $60bn from export business within 2021.

He said, "Bangladesh is working to acquire capability in the competitive world trade. So, the government has taken an import-export policy by protecting domestic industries."

The Minister came up with the statement while speaking at a seminar at the auditorium of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies in the capital on Saturday.
