Banani FR Tower catches fire

Staff Correspondent: FR Tower located on Banani Road 17 in the city caught fire on Thursday noon.
The fire originated around 12.55pm at the ninth floor. A total of 13 units of fire service are trying to douse the flames and evacuate those still inside of the building, located in a commercial hub beside Banani Bazar, said fire brigade control room officer-in-charge Enayet Hossain.
How the fire originated couldn’t be known immediately.
